Leaving behind her quiet life in Provence, Elise is determined to make her mark at Édition Limitée, one of the most prestigious fashion magazines in France. But from the moment she squeezes into her tiny Paris studio and faces the dazzling chaos of the magazine’s offices, reality is anything but a fairytale.

Her new boss, Amara Keita, is brilliant and uncompromising. The team is intimidating, the office politics fierce, and the pressure is sky-high. Even grabbing a coffee feels like a power move. And just when Elise starts to doubt herself, an unexpected encounter at Parc Monceau hints that Paris may have some surprises , and maybe a friend or two, in store.
